Concept2 Indoor Rowers
I remember getting on a rowing machine back in high school. My dad and I had started going to the local rec center to workout. I can recall that I was only able to row for five or ten minutes before I had to give up. Rowing is one tough exercise… though my experience is limited entirely to indoor rowers and mostly on Concept2 machines, but I have to imagine being on the water isn’t that much easier.
What’s great about Concept2 is how they interact with the community.
Heck, on their website is a link titled Communities that has tons of information that different groups might find helpful. I, for example, am excited to find their community for Weight Loss & Weight Management. From this community, there are links to discussion forums, motivational resources, a training guide (PDF), and training programs designed specifically for weight control!
A great feature of the Concept2 site is their online logbook where users (any user, not just owners) can go and log their workouts. If you already use an online log for tracking exercises, etc, that’s fine, but the Concept2 logbook is designed specifically for rowing. However, if you care to track your rowing performance over time or to participate in rowing challenges or the Million Meter Club, you need to log your workouts in the Concept2 logbook.
Enough chatter! Go do something!
